Computer Resource Centre

The computer network at Iqra National University comprises more than 50 nodes, providing multiple computing environments running the latest software on contemporary servers. Research facilities are available in Artificial Intelligence, Robotics, and Digital Signal Processing.

Internet & Connectivity

Students are provided with internet services across all online labs, equipped with broadband internet and highly configured PCs on a networked system. The whole campus operates under a local area network to facilitate intra-campus communication. All university-provided computer systems include high-speed internet access; students using personal laptops must display a valid university ID card at the EDP office to access the facility.

Qualified Faculty

Every department is staffed by highly qualified and experienced full-time and adjunct faculty. The university also invites guest teachers from institutions across Pakistan and abroad — professors and former chairmen from the University of Peshawar, University of Agriculture, and UET Peshawar visit frequently to conduct classes.

Specialised workshops and seminars are arranged across programmes — BBA, MBA, BSCS, MSCS, BE Electronics and others — conducted by experts from universities, institutions and national and multinational organisations. Visits to industrial sites are also organised so students gain practical exposure to national and multinational operations ahead of entering the job market.

The University's Student Guide

The university has designed an official mascot named "Otaku," which acts as a guide for students. Through pictorial descriptions, Otaku helps communicate university guidelines, events, updates and information related to the Student Information Centre.

I-WIZ is an intelligent, automated self-service terminal installed in the university's lobby, giving enrolled students instant access to their timetable, results, transcripts, examination slips and fee bills — all from a single touchpoint.
