BS Dental Technology

Specialized training in dental prosthetics, orthodontics technology, and oral healthcare support.

Program Overview

Dentistry without dental technology is handicapped. Dental technology covers the minute details and construction techniques of crowns, bridges, implants, dentures, ocular prosthesis, craniofacial prosthesis, orthodontics and auxiliaries, mouth guards and more. BS Dental Technology at the INU Department of Allied Health Sciences is a 4-year semester-based programme in which students learn and practice in the dental labs. On completion of the bachelor degree, students have international recognition or can start up their own dental lab setups; students interested in pursuing higher goals can continue to Master's and Ph.D. and become professors of Bio-materials at prestigious institutions and labs.

Eligibility

F.Sc (Pre-Medical) or equivalent qualifications from a recognized board/institution with at least 50% marks.
